Our Learning Model
How the altMBA is different

Following a competitive selection process, the altMBA delivers a condensed learning experience through teamwork, personalized feedback, coaching, curated readings, and shipping 13 projects in 4 weeks to take fast-tracked leaders to the next level.

COMBINING 25 YEARS OF INSIGHT

Seth Godin has created 13 hands-on projects designed to work in a connected, digital workshop. Highly leveraged, intensive, and applicable.

COACHING

With one coach for every ten students, we're able to pay attention to our students and the work they create.

LEARN BY DOING

Our student portal features curated resources, videos, articles, and books. Of course, it's not about secret content—the altMBA is a workshop, and your time is spent creating, critiquing and leveling up.

The relationships you create here last a lifetime

We curate a class of like-minded people who will push you and hold you accountable.

"You don't need any special knowledge to participate. You don't even need to quit your day job (though you might want to prepare a few weeks' worth of freezer dinners before you start.) But the altMBA is not for wimps. You'll stretch further and fly higher than you ever thought possible. And you'll do so alongside a cohort of brilliant, motivated ruckus-makers who will challenge and inspire you to produce your best work."
Niki Papadopolous, Senior Editor, Penguin Random House

Upon completing the altMBA, you are granted alumni status and gain access to our global alumni network, alumni portal, and alumni groups on social networks.

Reaching the next level of leadership requires a shift in posture, in decision-making, and, most of all, in choosing to be a linchpin.

Without guidance, this process can take years of trial-and-error. The altMBA accelerates this personal and professional transformation by providing a deep view of leadership, organizations, and change.

Discover your own potential. Level up.

Admissions
Is This Program For You?

Our curriculum is hands-on. More than 75% of your time is dedicated to shipping your work—practical projects that allow you to apply what you learn. Tuition is $3,850, and most large companies will reimburse you (ask your HR team).

The altMBA is for doers. If this sounds like you, we invite you to apply.

Admission is selective. We prioritize two things: your professional achievements, and your ruckusmaker attitude.

Questions? Some of the things we get asked a lot: Is the altMBA worth it? What is a typical day? What are the time zones for the program? What is your curriculum? Do you offer informational webinars? Who are your students? Who is Seth Godin? What are important dates and deadlines? Where can I apply?

We encourage you to read our FAQ. We have answers to more than thirty other common questions.
